Position Description

Dorner’s Engineered Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager.  Key attributes include the knowledge and experience of successfully managing projects from their inception through completion.  ESG designs solutions that will help our customer’s attain improvements in their processes and operations with customized conveyor products.

The position involves working on a full-range of projects interfacing with customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and management. Candidates must be able to determine key milestones and effectively schedule internal resources to meet or exceed agreed upon customer expectations.  This position will require travel to support customer meetings and system installations and startup. 

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to work within deadlines in a fast paced environment. A strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize are important. Candidates must have great communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Minimum requirements also include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to project management in a similar capacity
  • Experienced in scheduling, planning and interfacing with manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills to work across the customer and Dorner’s organization
  • Knowledgeable on reading engineered drawings
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment and/or independently 
  • Previous experience with conveyors, estimating software and AutoCAD would be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook)
