New Perforated Bed for the 2200 Series

Click to View LargerPerfect for Cooling and Draining!

The new perforated bedplate for the 2200 Series is ideal for cooling products while they are being conveyed. Air flows easily through the frame, allowing a vacuum connection to supply additional air for even faster cooling.

This perforated bedplate also enables moisture to drip through without collecting inside the frame. So if your product needs to be sprayed while being conveyed or is damp from a previous process, moisture drips away while the product is transported.

You can add this perforated bedplate to any 2200 Series conveyor that is at least 12 inches wide. The 2200’s low profile fits into tight spaces, and can be equipped with a wide range of belts to make it ideal for high temperature conveying, streamlined machine interface, small parts transfer, sharp parts handling and now conveying moist or hot products.

Make the Switch to Motorized Pulleys
(And maybe you can go home early!)

Click to View LargerCleaner, Safer And More Efficient

Motorized pulleys for the Dorner AquaPruf conveyor line enable you to improve sanitation, increase workspace and enhance worker safety. More and more food processors are making the switch for these three reasons, and they’re more energy efficient, too!

Improved Sanitation

Whereas an external drive system can be a source for contamination, motorized pulleys reduce the risk by using a smooth, profiled stainless steel, completely sealed designed with IP66 ingress protection. The sealed design also makes motorized pulleys ideal for even the toughest environmental applications.

Greater Output Than Conventional Drives

The energy savings alone can make the switch to motorized pulleys a sound engineering decision. Compared to conventional drives they:

  • Are 32% more efficient unloaded
  • Are 47% more efficient loaded
  • Have a 97% transfer rate instead of 75%

Smaller & Safer

The entire drive unit is enclosed in a drum shell that is contained within the conveyor frame. The design takes up much less space, and makes it ideal for high traffic or activity areas. Because there are no external moving parts or shafts, there is also a reduced risk of injury.
