Three Custom Conveyors Carry The Load

Dorner developed three 2200 conveyors tailored specifically to carry work-in-progress and scrap. These conveyors withstand the constant pounding of the press as well as being continually soaked in stamping oil.

To help assure their smooth operation, Neuman and Dorner teamed up to develop a bearing that could be installed in a blind housing hole to protect them from damage and corrosion. These bearings are now standard on all 2200 series conveyors.

A “Cool” And Efficient Clean-in-Place Solution

For one customer who needed to cool their product immediately after blanching, Dorner adapted common clean-in-place equipment to provide a cooling wash right on top of the AquaPruf 7400 conveyor. The wire belt allowed water to flow through as well as to facilitate cooling, and a water capture system ensured efficient water use.

Streamline Sanitation

Dorner’s motorized pulley is available on all AquaPruf conveyors. For applications requiring a high level of sanitation, a pulley with 3A certification is available as well.

The motorized pulley has no moving parts outside the conveyor frame, frees up workspace around the conveyor and even uses less electricity than conventional gearmotors.

Possibly the best feature of all, the motorized pulley can be sanitized in place and easily removed for quick and easy maintenance.
