Dorner now offers a belted transfer in a compact space saving design. Interfaced with the relatively larger pulleys of the 7350 Series AquaGard™ conveyor, the innovative AquaGard Powered Transfer incorporates precision timing belts for consistent tracking and speed, plus maintenance-free operation. The timing belts travel smoothly over ½’’ nosebars for seamless transfers of product smaller than 2’’. Available at the drive and/or idler end of the AquaGard 7350 Series, the Powered Transfer module is compatible with all drive tails and drive mount packages on conveyors up to 36’’ wide; plus, the transfer module only adds 8’’ to the total conveyor length.

Maintaining product position and speed through transfers is easy – the Powered Transfer module allows you to adjust the height and distance to the main conveyor pulley for fine tuning the transfer to increase accuracy for product gapping and pacing at speeds up to 175 ft/min.

To live up to the reputation of Dorner’s sanitary line of stainless steel conveyors, the AquaGard Powered Transfer is constructed of corrosion-resistant 300-series stainless steel and anodized aluminum for occasional washdown applications with FDA approved nosebar bushings and urethane belting.

Opportunities call for AquaPruf^® in Mexico

Dorner recently exhibited at Central America’s largest packaging trade show – Expo Pack Mexico, co-locating with
C & A Systems. This partnership allowed both C & A Systems and Dorner to leverage each other’s strengths to generate a great deal of interest from attending companies – many of which are exclusively based in Mexico.

Nearly 25,000 people attended Expo Pack. Attendance was up about 15% at this event, which is indicative of two trends: greater food production in Mexico to support North American consumers; and their need to aggressively meet equipment, sanitation and package safety requirements to better serve expanding markets. Dorner’s AquaPruf^® conveyor was prominently featured in
C & A Systems’ booth and attracted a lot of attention and interest during the four day show. C & A Systems and their sister company, AbaMex, celebrated their 75th anniversary during the show. Their experience serving food and packaging customers will generate greater exposure for Dorner across Mexico and lead to new growth for both Dorner and C & A Systems.
