On a recent stay FIT™ Assessment the Dorner’s FIT Squad™ evaluated a large paper company’s conveyors. One center drive conveyor was buried in a packaging machine and the last belt change took the maintenance team 10 hours to change the belt, for a production loss of $30,000.

 

The FIT Squad, through training and some minor conveyor changes were able to reduce the belt change time to ½ hour or a customer savings of over $28,000 in production value on every belt change.
