Design Engineer- New Product Development

Position Description

If you are a problem solver and decision maker that enjoys working as part of a team, this is a great opportunity to work on our standard configurable and high volume products.

This individual will be expected to execute the requirements of the NPD process, including component and systems design, ECN definition and administering Safety Reviews, product build and test, final design release, and product life cycle support.  This visible position will work with manufacturing, assembly as well as sales and marketing.

Requirements

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.  Requires Solidworks, or similar 3D design experience.  You will need solid problem-solving and decision making skills.  Experience in the field of material handling of industrial, pharmaceutical, medical products and or food experience would be helpful.  You will be required to lead and function well within a team environment, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.  Project management experience will serve you well.
