This video shows a 90-degree pop-up transfer table conveyor. This particular system was designed to move 40 lb. blocks of frozen food from a manually fed conveyor. The process changes product orientation from short edge lead to long edge leading.
The pop-up design eliminates relative movement between the product and the conveying surface which allows for a smooth exchange between the two conveyors. This system features Dorner’s AquaPruf 7400 Series stainless steel conveyors.
