Deehriex Tan has been appointed International Sales Manager – Asia Pacific for Malaysia-based FlexMove, a Dorner Holding Corp. company. This is a new position created with the goal of establishing brand recognition and growing sales in Asia Pacific markets for FlexMove, as well as Dorner Mfg. and Geppert-Band, a German-based manufacturer of modular belt conveyors also owned by Dorner Holding Corp.
Tan brings more than 25 years of material handling, engineering and expertise in business development, product packaging and process manufacturing to FlexMove.
“FlexMove has become a global leader in conveyor platforms and material handling systems, and I’m excited to help expand the company’s brand and everything it represents to the Asia Pacific region,” Tan said.
In December 2015, Dorner Holding Corp. acquired FlexMove, a leading manufacturer of flexible chain conveyors for food, beverage, automotive, electronics and other industries; Dorner Holding Corp. also acquired Geppert-Band in May 2016.
Dorner continues its ascent in the material handling industry through responsive customer service and custom-built industrial and sanitary low-profile belt conveyors. In the past 18 months, Dorner has launched several new conveyor platforms, including its SmartPace conveyor, which is designed to enhance packaged product orientation by receiving items and properly spacing them on the conveyor.
