Rejecting Questionable Product
Metal Detection
Safety is a major concern in the food manufacturing process.  Manufacturers want to make sure that all of the food on their line is safe and not contaminated with metal or other foreign objects.

When manufacturers want to make sure they have no metal in their products, they can use metal detection systems on the conveyor line.

Dorner Construction Update
Our building expansion is moving right along!  Here are some updates on what's happening around here:
  • The exterior walls and roof are complete
  • All sanitary and electrical lines that are going under the floor are complete
  • Exterior doors have been installed
  • Openings have been cut from the old building into the new addition
Happening this week:
  • Concrete floor will be poured (25,000 sq ft in 3 days)
  • Floor will cure for a week, and then a sealer will be applied.
Reducing Product Loss
When you need to move product from one conveyor to another, that's often where challenges arise.  You could just put two conveyors as close together as possible. If your product is big enough it will go from one conveyor to the next.

However, there's still the chance of it falling into the gap between the two causing damage to the product as well as the conveyors.
